Former Employee - Teller in Los Angeles, CA

I worked at Bank of America part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits even if you are only working part-time. The company really looks out for its employees. They are very flexible with the hours and they provide constant training. Although I was hired as part-time teller, they would always give me extra hours when I needed them. Once you learn your duties, it is very easy. Quarterly reviews are always helpful and gives you the opportunity to increase your pay-rate.

    Cons

It is hard to move up to corporate. Very pushy with referrals. Managers would ask you to call friends and family to offer banking services and get business.
