    I worked at BearingPoint

    Pros

Advancement opportunities for entry level employees

    Cons

Came in when company overall financial stability was starting to fail and thus rode out the demise of company til the end.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Seeing that Bearingpoint is now in bankruptcy there is not much advice to be given on a dead company. I think that the company should have stayed private but then again there were a lot of financial issues and debts owed that outweighed everything else.

    I worked at BearingPoint

    Pros

Great Benefits, Top Manangement Team, wonderful networking ops & many locations.

The company invest a lot of time and work into employees to ensure you are top notch for the field.

    Cons

Currently out of business. Has sold many pieces of the company to vairous competietors.

My division has been sold to a major Consulting Firm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve on the back end of the business. I really loved my new company but due to mis-management different divisions were sold to other companies.

I have been working at BearingPoint

    Pros

Very strong Public Services business has unusually good stability and work life balance. I have been very proud to serve BE for the past eight years. We have excellent employees and our clients fanatically support us. On the ground things are positive and the PS practice continues to win work despite the Chapter 11 filing.

    Cons

Actions at the Corporate level have resulted in a steady decline of the company resulting now in its dissolution. I have been proud to serve BE for 8 years but I look forward to our acquisition by another tier 1 consulting firm. We have had a cloud hanging over us for years with the SEC investigations, filling delays, and then issues surrounding the structure of our corporate debt.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more aware of the potential risk to performing M&A
