    Pros

Good group of people. Pay was "O.K." You could set your own hours within reason as long as you were hitting your numbers every month. Great offering of different insurance carriers made it fairly easy to win business.

    Cons

No very motivating from the upper management...."what have you done for me lately" seemed to be the prevailing mindset of the executive team. Pay was just O.K.

    Pros

Find a position on the brokering / underwriting side of the business; this group is seen as the revenue-generating part of the business and treated as more valuable than other areas. Worked with some great employees.

    Cons

Working as part of the back office or as a third-party administrator is not valued. Upper management did not seem to trust each other.

    Advice to Management

Balance the front sell (brokering) to the on-going client relationships (third party administration).

    Pros

The culture of the company was great; everybody works well together and are always willing to help each other to achieve the same goal "success". One of the best places I've worked with the exception on the communication.

    Cons

Some managers need to learn how to communicate better so there is no question in their expectations.

    Advice to Management

Need to be fair to all employees regarding flexibility, its obvious that some managers allow for more flexibility to people that are married and/or those that have children as they seem to be allowed more flexibility with little or no repercussion.
