    Pros

Great work environment. Assuring on providing a world class shopping experience to every shopper. Allow you to test out your ideas.

    Cons

To much to do and so little time within a 40 hour work week. Not enough labor when needed. Repetitive cycle

    Advice to Management

Provide more opportunities to provide a talent bench.

    Pros

    Fast paced, dynamic atmosphere
Open to new ideas, very innovative and fun

    Cons

Slow to make decisions, declining budgets, performance development is lacking, minimal promotions within, too much emphasis on MBA's vs. real experience.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate tenure. Years of service (loyalty and dedication) don't seem to matter.

    Pros

    Get to work with technology.
Work - Life balance is up to you, you can just about take as many days off as you want to throughout the year because there is a blackout period starting in like mid-October for the holidays they require you not to request days off.
Great learning environment and experience. You will meet great people and people that knows about technology outside of best buy which can be helpful.
    Room to grow.
Overall great company to work for but after years you will start to dislike it if you don't really move up.
The DISCOUNT is awesome on accessories and a few core products.
Pay is negotiable so depending on where you work you can kind of bargain you pay.

    Cons

Management is all politics, they look out for who they want to. You have to have a strong backbone to stand up to management and let them know that you will not take no bs. Sometime they let their job go to their head. I mentioned room to grow in the pros but it's all about who butt you decide to kiss. (maybe not everywhere but in certain locations.)

    Advice to Management

Get on accord and on board overall not just on certain levels.
start listening you your employee needs
realize that everything is not about best buy.

    Pros

Pay and bonuses and employee discount. All of that has been cut or eliminated. Met and worked with some awesome people over the years.

    Cons

Same as other big box companies. HR and mgrs have their favorites. More about the money now then the people. Great people make you more money.

    Advice to Management

Go back to the roots of what made the company great.

    Pros

If you are open to relocating, one can move up and around to gain different skill sets, such as leadership and sales management.

    Cons

With such a high turnover, this can be quite a discouraging job if you have long term goals of working and growing within the company. Soon your supervisor or manager will be gone and you start from square one.
