Former Employee – worked at Best Buy part-time for more than a year
Pros – Friendly and positive managers and co-workers. They respect you and care about you. They let me leave for an internship and when I returned I got my job back.
Cons – Some of the required materials you have to sell are ridiculous. They threatened our jobs if we didn't reach a certain number of credit card apps. Store is noisy alarms go off constantly. Customers are idiots that think they're geniuses.
Advice to Senior Management – Refer to cons.

Current Employee – been working at Best Buy full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great work environment if you are working with the right people. Some customers could be a pain in the butt sometimes but for the most part I enjoy helping people out. It's not so much the job itself that keeps me coming in to work every day, its the family that is created with the other employees, even leadership.
Cons – If you are in a department with a lot of conflicting personalities, working with them could be difficult. Sometimes customers are just too much of a pain to deal with, and some create such big problems we just want to tell them to leave, but we cannot.
Advice to Senior Management – Make sure everyone is doing their job, and doing it correctly. Checks and balances need to be in place.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Employee – worked at Best Buy part-time for less than a year
Pros – Really flexible hours that can work around school schedules.
Don't have to deal with customers too much.
Work at your own pace.
I pretty much controlled the inventory warehouse and organized it.
Management don't give you any trouble as long as you stay on top of your work.
Unload truck deliveries.
Cons – Somtimes you might be asked to work really early. But if you don't mind waking up at 4 am to get ready for work, then this job is for you.
Advice to Senior Management – Try to recognize a hard worker when you see one.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
