    Pros

GREAT customers and atmosphere, a place that commands you get to know a unique group of people. Just an overall fun place to work with great merchandise.

    Cons

They closed to many stores because of poor choices made by corporate and I lost my job. I wont talk bad about the company itself cause I enjoyed all my time there. But It's truly saddening and regrettable. I hope they can get things right.

I have been working at Billabong full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The work is rewarding. If you like being around people and striking conversation with complete strangers then this is the job for you. I get to meet the most interesting people everyday I go to work.

    Cons

To many bosses and bosses bosses. You never know who to really listen to when you are at a manager level. Everyone has a say about pretty much everything and they all want it their way. Communication need some help.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put ONE person in charge and if you have a problem with something at the store level GO UP! Not down... Example: The color story in the Jr side is not what you hoped it would be, go to the head merchandiser DO NOT ask the team working in the store to change the entire wall while trying to sell. We want to sell not merchandise, If we wanted to merchandise we would be merchandisers. And If you want us to be stand in merchandisers allow us the pay roll for it...
