    Sophomore leadership

    ProsOne of the VPs stated that a trained monkey could do most jobs. So, it’s a great place to work for trained monkeys. Your opinion during meetings is also very important. It helps management determine how best to throw you under the bus.

    ConsGod forbid you ask for time off while paid as salary. Family illness including cancer is not acceptable, because it’s not been planned. Improvement surveys only help point out the employees to be ostracized and ridiculed. HR will sincerely ask opinions and if you answer, the punishment really starts.

    Advice to Senior ManagementAdvice to Senior leadership; lose the VPs and Managers that act like sophomores and take some leadership classes yourself. The mirror you look into is the reflection of the failure within this company. Your degree does not make you a leader; it only shows that you can blend with the other sophomores.

    They will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat...

    ProsOpportunity to learn new technologies, lots of free food.

    ConsThis company rewards management for putting the screws on its employees. Heaven forbid you should have an illness or person emergency - you will find yourself out of a job at the first opportunity. They will lie to your face and tell you everything's OK while they are planning to get rid of you. Unrealistic deadlines, lack of communication, and evil management.
