I worked at BlackBerry full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great benefits and treated appropriately, room to advance and learn.
Cons – Too many areas within the company do not communicate with each other.
Advice to Senior Management – Change the upper management structure and the SVP level managers to change the culture.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at BlackBerry full-time for less than a year
Pros – Very professional and friendly people to work with. The company definitely takes care of its employees. The new CEO is turning things around and I am hopeful for 2013
Cons – Fear of being cut in layoffs during downsizing. Even though they look to be performance-based, it is still nerve-wracking wondering if you will be next.
Advice to Senior Management – Even though you must lay people off, don't forget to take care of those that stay. Otherwise, the talented will leave.

I worked at BlackBerry
Pros – relaxed atmosphere
The manager made a special effort to make me feel part of the team
Very technical mangers and atmosphere
flexible schedule
awesome place :near Miami!
Cons – The management is very conservative on implementation of new technologies
So you may end up working on stuff that most companies have already inplemented
Advice to Senior Management – the management needs to make some hard decisions to keep RIM competitive in the long run. This would involve investing more in research for cutting edge technologies

I worked at BlackBerry
Pros – *Company loves students
*Incredible group of like-minded, intelligent interns, and we had a blast
*Work life balance - 40 hour work weeks (for me) and generally commitment based. Some of my
friends worked more but never too much more that I saw
*Nicest people ever. My whole team was great (the actual employees, not interns) and really supported me
*Very competitive sallary for a internship
*Free blackberry and full voice and data service while working for them
Cons – *Not the fast-paced environment some might be looking for in places like Google and Facebook
*Don't get to keep Blackberry after internship :)
Advice to Senior Management – Innovate. Apple and Google will take you down if you don't take some risks with your phones. Loved my internship though. Amazing experience. :)

Pros – For a coop, this is an amazing place to be. Free blackberry, lot's of friends, you get pushed to work hard, and if you do, there's always a chance for full employment.
Cons – As a coop, nothing really. It's all great.
