I have been working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association full-time

    Pros

Good pay for industry. Good working environment for Millennials and Baby Boomers. They are respectful and supportive of all diversity. A good number of staff become lifers. Some times they will leave and come back if a new position is open. Great co-workers. Have employee councils for Social Responsibility and Diversity.

    Cons

Depending on grade level, cost for health benefits can be very high for traditional PPO. You work hard but you learn a lot.

    Advice to Management

Though the corporate culture is open to work/family life balance, inclusion, etc., they are still quite conservative. Dress code could be more relaxed and development of Google company like collaboration spaces would be great!
