    Pros

Great business to be in. The company culture and atmosphere is always inviting. People like to work hard and have fun which enables you to feel driven while promoting a manageable work-life balance. (especially in a part time position)

    Cons

While the company is growing larger, it doesn't seem like a company thats large enough for everyone to find their preferred career path and apparently, there has been a high employee turnover ratio in the past. That could be the reason behind the high ratio.

    Advice to Management

I think the management is very engaged and does a good job of keeping employees informed. I would suggest making it easier for employees to explore different areas of working within the company, as they could become very valuable assets to you if they are able to find a position that they thrive in.

    Pros

Amazing Benefits, flexibility in work schedule, opportunity to travel, opportunity to advance within the company if you are willing to relocate, awesome company atmosphere and culture

    Cons

A lot is expected of you with little guidance provided, if you want to advance within the company you must relocate. Also, if you are not interested in managing it's hard to move up, poor work life balance, although there is flexibility in creating your schedule, you are sometimes required to work weekend and week nights

    Great Company, Poor Work/Life Balance

    Pros

-Company culture is tremendous. Mostly great people who love the beer business. -Access to upper management at company meetings allows for "discussing the undiscussables" and getting feedback on the direction of the company. -Training is incredible, applies not only to the industry but to sales in general. -Solid benefits/perks (car allowance, generous PTO days, 80% of all gas is paid, travel opportunities for meetings, free beer) -Advancement opportunities if you are willing to relocate. However, if you're not in a position to move, DO NOT expect to advance.

    Cons

-Work/Life balance is rough. Certainly not a 9-5 job as you'll often spend evenings and weekends conducting samplings, festivals, and events. Sometimes feel more like a promo girl than a salesperson. Many BRs felt that was beneath the role. -Lack of direction/priorities. Can be overwhelming, with a growing portfolio, determining what you should be selling and when. Often told to do 10 different things when you can only do 7 well. Criticized for not doing the other 3. -Compensation is base salary with a bonus. No commissions (which would be difficult to track/verify based on bonus structure). Often feel underpaid for time and hours spent working.

    Advice to Management

Don't lose the company culture you've worked hard to build. Reevaluate middle management structure and determine if some longtime managers have worn out their welcome. Address the compensation gap to remain competitive for good talent. Consider adding more Market Reps to more districts and let your BRs SELL.

    Pros

Dynamic industry, incentive pay, collaborative culture, travel opportunities, exposure to the alcoholic beverage industry, personal development strategy, autonomy and ownership of territory

    Cons

long hours, nights and weekends, constantly changing organizational structure, there is always more you can do, satisfaction not guaranteed

    Pros

Fantastic training program- great for people who are coming from different fields; Awesome travel opportunities- various interviews, region meetings, division meetings, national meetings, trainings, etc; Offer 17 pto days for first 2 years with company then 21 days; Mondays are work from home and you create your schedule every other day so it can be as flexible as you like; Competitive salary and great benefits (health care, 401 k, free beer); Family-like community; Huge opportunity to advance, and fast! *Only get in to this job if you are seriously passionate about beer (the culture and history of it, flavor profiles, styles, drinking it- you will be living, breathing, eating, sleeping beer!)

    Cons

Some managers are way more lenient with pto and scheduling than others; requirements are not unified across the board (I am very lucky with my manager!); Hours can be long and sneak into personal time (evening and weekend promotions); Driving alone in your car every day can get very lonely and boring; There is a lot of responsibility and expectation with little direction; it can be very overwhelming at times!

    Pros

BBC has a great training program and works hard to create an amazing company culture.

    Cons

So many daily tasks with little direction. Overworked based on pay

    Advice to Management

Some managers are way more understanding with comp days than others. After working long weeks/weekends reps deserve comp days that don't take away from pto
