    Good culture and client oriented

Client Service Associate (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsThe company has great management, friendly co workers, and great clients. The employees hired have great work ethics and are treated very well in comparison to other banks. There is a great balance for work and life and since the company stresses client focus/customer service, the interaction between departments and clients are professional and courteous.

ConsThe company still needs better training programs but they hire well tranined staff members to work around that kink. They still lack the internal growth factor as many companies stress but access to knowledge, resoucres, and networking are at employees' fingertips.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo not grow too quickly in size and do not have employee/HR benefits be a negotiation

    Great company, great people.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsAfter working at several other banks, Boston Private feels like heaven. They are truly client based and not sales based like many of the bigger companies.

ConsNothing negative to say about this place. I have been there almost a year and do not have any complaints.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement is great. They are great to work with, understand the work/life balance and want their employees to be happy in whatever they are doing.

    A very profesional tema

    Commercial Loan Assistance (Former Employee)

Prosvery helpful for other team members. everyone is very knowledgeable about their job and if they don't know an answer they will help you get it very professional friendly and outgoing people

Consneed to have a company policy on certain job duties. since the merger of the company there are 3 different locations that have different peoplle handle ing the same job at differ location. we need each other on the procedures of job duties. each job detail is the same way.

Advice to Senior Managementyou work for a great company and are very lucky to work with the people you do. I've never felt so welcome at a tapas I meant like I did at boston private. the employees of this company are not just coworkers they treat each other with respect and compassion as if they were family

BPB is a great place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsExtremely professional with immense growth opportunity. Employees are extremely knowledgeable and world class. Human Resources is great to work with.

ConsOpperationally the company lacks conformity. There is a large breakdown of communication interdepartmentally and throughout the organization which causes client service to deminish as well as confusion.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement needs to be consistant and follow through. To become more technologically savy to be able to "get their hands dirty"

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
