You will be challenged and you will grow your skills if you are successful here
    Great culture
No boundaries between teams. People work together

One of the best college hire programs I've ever seen
I've personally recommended Bottomline to several friends
My daughter loves the annual bring your kid to work day
The ice cream truck shows up every other Friday all summer

ConsBottomline is not for everyone. This company is made up of top performers and people that are looking to go home at 4:40 won't be happy here. Be sure you are looking to join a company that's growing this fast before joining Bottomline. If you don't want a challenge this is not the right place for you.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep growing your pool of talented people. Invest even more in training and mentoring programs. The ones in place today are working.

    Refreshing!

Technical Consultant (Current Employee) Reading, England (UK)

ProsGreat salary. Free massages. Pizza Friday. Car allowance. Friendly team. Reliable products and a friendly attitude. Annual holiday entitlement that increases yearly. Good bonus scheme.

ConsNeed to realise that they do encroach on the home/work balance sometimes too much. Staff need tolearn to map ready better when booking jobs. Very little quality control.

Fabulous place to work in every aspect!

Enrollment Specialist (Current Employee) Portsmouth, NH

ProsI look forward to coming to work every day. Why? Because Bottomline really cares about its employees. I have the feeling that my opinion matters from the CEO, to Vice Presidents and Managers as well as my co-workers. The culture is built around "working with and for each other" and I have seen this consistently throughout my time here. The message I hear from the senior staff is that I am doing a good job and that I am a valued employee. Who doesn't like recognitiion for a job well done? Moreover, it's clear that there is room for growth here--when a talent is recognized, management acts on it. In other words the focus is on the strengths of our skill set, rather than our shortcomings and then they run with that which makes it fun and rewarding. Employees share a strong work ethic--I always feel like it's team work and that we're moving toward a goal together. Managers are approachable, colleagues are a pleasure, the benefits are very generous--"think Matching 401K" and the environment is well--beautiful! If it's important to you to work hard, feel a part of and to feel satisfied at the end of the day, then this is the place for you.

    ConsFrom where I sit? None.

Best company I have ever worked for.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Portsmouth, NH

ProsOpportunity is not defined by your job title. Anyone has the ability to make a real impact. The company does a great deal to support employees through difficult personal situations and they have the best benefit package I have experienced.

ConsIt is a fast paced environment unlike any I have ever worked at before. It makes things exciting but it is certainly not the right fit for everyone.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't just set goals. Ensure the employees below you have some direction on how best to work together to achieve them.

    Takes care of its employees

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsUpper management has a vision, is driving the company forward.

ConsAt times, and in certain departments, very little respect for work life balance. In pursuit of satisfying the largest and most demanding clients, working evenings and weekends are the norm.

Advice to Senior ManagementStaff adequately, especially for large deployments, ensure that the teams (including team management) can switch off/trade off to provide the agressive and demanding coverage that the largest customers demand. Burnout risk is high here.

    Best place I've ever worked

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Portsmouth, NH

ProsGrowing company with lots of opportunities for those willing to take ownership and drive things.
No politics between the top level leaders. They support each other and each others groups.
Management cares about their employees and try to do the right thing
Culture is a top priority for all managers in the company. They actual run programs and training to keep the culture going.
Benefits are better than most companies in the area

ConsYou'll need to work hard to keep up with your coworkers here.
If your not working hard you won't last long

Advice to Senior ManagementThis company is exploding with growth and so many places loose their culture when this happens. Stay focused on the culture and make sure you keep it as you grow.

    I strongly recommend Bottomline Technologies!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsI'm a current BT employee ( 6+ years) and it's been the best job I've ever had. My job has offered both professional and personal rewards. I enjoy working with the multiple groups at BT and there is a definite sense of teamwork. When I accomplish a personal goal, I feel good that I've contributed to the success of my team and BT. I can personally attest to the strength of BT's health benefits and unwavering support of my coworkers and executive leadership. The phrase "what can I do to help" is sincere at the personal and professional level. BT's consistent growth in turbulent economic times is a testimony to their strong leadership and I look forward to the years to come.

ConsI would like to meet with my team in person on a more frequent basis.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
