    Pros

    When I first started at Brady it was a great company to work for. Great benefits, management cared about employees. Yearly bonuses.

    Cons

    Management changed several times, jobs were outsourced to other countries like the Philippines and Mexico. Many .American jobs were lost.

    Pros

    You do not get bored and the people you work with are a lot of fun. They also are willing to help each other.

    Cons

    They don't like it when you ask another person working there for help lol. They try to control everything, instead of letting everyone work as a unit for the greater good.

    Advice to Management

    Loosen the reins a little. Let your people breath, they know actually very well what they are doing.

    Pros

    Working with friendly and smart people. The people in every department that I've encountered are for the most part great at what they do. Many of the middle managers are great about cultivating their employees. Average time-off policy. Great personal growth opportunities.

    Cons

    Lots of instability of upper and middle management personal. Salary not competitive. I once had a promotion delayed almost half a year so that it would line up with merit increase and they were rolled up together a loss to me.

    Advice to Management

    Financially the company seems to be stable, but a look on the inside (employees) is quite frighting. Middle management is leaving at an alarming rate.

    nice environment and people & culture shift is good

    salary increases are hard to come by, even when market fair value is requested continuous employee development is sub standard community involvement is low

    Pros

    I worked for a division of Brady for many years. Prior to 2008 company was growing and a leader in customer satisfaction and employees had many avenues to give input and ideas. A lot of great benefits & local incentive programs to contribute to the company well being.

    Cons

    Unfortunately after 2008 many things and policies changed. Not enough local involvement. GM was divided among 3 divisions and attention to detail day-to-day was lacking.

    Advice to Management

    Still a strong company, decent benefits, more focus on training & developing employees is needed. A fgull time GM at each site is needed to get feedback from the on site employees to make the company strong again. Not just in Milwaukee. All divisions.

    Brady has a good company culture that attracted talented and dedicated employees over the years

    Frequent restructuring and lack of direction is a challenge for company's future

    There are lots of good idea for products, markets, and how to make the company better. Need to get people to re-engage
