    Pros

Knowing you are protecting the kids from upper management.

    Cons

Corporate staff (CEO, VP's, Area Managers) are a joke. They do not care about the staff or children it's all about the money. We are short staffed all of the time and out of ratio. They do not step in and they ignore requests for help.

    Advice to Management

Someone is going to get hurt, again! You should have learned once from the incident in Philly! You still only focus on money and not the best interest of children and staff.

    Pros

It was a paycheck, and I am glad that it was only a temporary assignment.

    Cons

As a temporary employee, I was absolutely looked down upon.

    Advice to Management

The CFO and CEO were really nice and outgoing. Other than that, the rest looked down at me, or thought of me as nonexistent.

    Pros

The experience of teaching in a classroom setting and the rewards that come with being a teacher.

    Cons

The children have a lot of issues, and many need special services. The children are aggressive and violent, and talk back to teachers. The parents are even worse sometimes. And even WORSE are the people they hire! Assistant teachers who yell and text on their phones all day and do not respect their lead teacher at all. Assistants who talk like they're from the street in front of the children. I've seen teachers hit students and curse at them. You can complain until you're blue in the face and nothing is done about it. There are cliques formed and a lot of nasty talk and back stabbling. They want you to teach a curriculum and follow DOE and ELL guidelines. UPK is supposed to prep the kids for Kindergarten, but they do not want you to push homework on them and allow parents to stroll in at any time! This place is part of the economic problems in decaying urban communities and I'm glad to be done with them. What I witnessed and experienced there was very sad and stressful; heartbreaking.

    Advice to Management

Be careful who you hire. Background checks don't mean a thing sometimes! Teach assistant teachers how to respect lead teachers. Communicate better with your employees and hold parents more accountable. It's a shame...a real shame.

    Pros

If you like taking drugs to relieve the daily stress, then by all means apply.

    Cons

Underpaid, an enormous amount of work, stressful and the executive leadership are phonies who string employees along to keep the money rolling in.

    Advice to Management

Stop selling out minority children with your McDonald's like program...I.e. this agency serves up pretty buildings, lots of games and activities to fluff up classrooms but there's no real education happening...like fast food chains, there's no nutritional value and no commitment to the children they pretend to care about and even less commitment to staff who work long hours and who can be sent home any time without pay off the administration decides the are not needed for the day...although they are hired for a 40 hour work week. This agency has venture capitalist investors who truly don't care to know how this agency is run because money is power.

    Pros

Work schedule was perfect weekends off hoildays off paid vacations was the part. Working with the children will make u smile.

    Cons

Pay was horrible they pay so little all they care about money from the government. The lunch they served the childreb looks like dog food. I would not send my child there.

    Advice to Management

Corporation does not care about their employees at all. They put together copied and paste words and they claim it is a lesson plan.

  9. The company has all the right tools to be a great early childhood education, however their educators need more training.

    Pros

    Good resources. Technological advances, buildings

    Cons

People who are hired need more training, no room for real lesson plans, ratios with children, furniture is too low for children. They climb on them, the toddlers.

    Advice to Management

Change the safety hazard furniture. Provide proper coverage for lunch time of the employees.

A paycheck you get paid. Nothing for the amount of stress you go through. I mean you gotta eat right?

    Cons

Administration. Lack of communication. Poor curriculum. No materials. Late lunches. Cliques.

    Advice to Management

Get it together. They have devised a plan to take all the inner city poverty stricken communities money and uses the same people to undermine and exploit each other . Our underprivileged children are not allowed bbc.co technology in the classroom! How is that progressive? You definitely have the money. What .
