I have been working at Bristol-Myers Squibb full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good flexibility, decent salary and benefits.

    Cons

Constant reorganization creates confusion about priorities. There's very little turnover within the labs and a lot of people have a very limited skill set--so junior scientists often end up training "senior" scientists when it should be the other way around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the promotion system used for associates working in the lab. There are too many senior scientists with bloated salaries and no interest in supporting the development of junior scientists. The promotion system seems to be solely based on time spent at the company.
