    I worked at Broadcom

    Pros

The work has following pros in my personal point of view:
Good Pay at about $2400/2 weeks .
Friendly working environment. Colleagues are very helpful
    Good location.

    Cons

There is really nothing much cons in the company. The only one I heard about is the payment compared to other elite companies who are in the similar industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is really nothing much complains I have here. In my point of view this is a very good company that really rewards engineers efforts

I worked at Broadcom as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Fast pace, innovative technology, always ahead of its competitors, great thinkers. You will always be engaged and active in many tasks and projects. Irvine headquarters has a great cafeteria where company subsidizes larger portion of cost.

    Cons

Work-life balance can be challenging to manage because there are so many things going on and sometimes difficult to pull yourself away.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are some great managers at Broadcom who are great thinkers and leaders. More transparency in plans would be welcomed.

I worked at Broadcom as an intern (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good hourly rate for interns. Good experience for resume and future prospects.Team members were fun and friendly. Overall good work environment, not too stressful at all.

    Cons

Constant noise working in the lab (used earplugs or noise-canceling headphones) but get used to it after a couple of days. Some managers aren't the best to work for if you dislike being micromanaged.
