    Former Sales group person

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGood people, you can usually find people who will help you/guide you. Worked within the sales organization.

ConsThe place is somewhat of a maze both in its reporting structure and how to navigate the management. It is often unclear who is "above" whom. There is a lot of history of competition amongst teams/groups/departments and that seemed to be a constant that would not change.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe clearer about who you are, what you want to do, and what you expect, less campaigns and more clarity. Follow senior management's example of wanting more transparency and share what is wrong (middle management, don't just be "yes" people)

The worse experience in my life, special in the Fix income dept level II

RPG Programmer (Current Employee) Jersey City, NJ

ProsWell if you have decided not to stop growing in your career development and just get money for doing dumb jobs like if you were an operator this is the right job.

ConsI worked for two years in this company, in the level II dept, and it was the worse experience in my life
    - They have a package called Impact which they assume as soon as you get in the company that you already know the package, they think the package is a universal language that you must know, Indian guys are not friendly to teach you so everything has to be learn by yourself by doing, they give you works without any explanation how to do it, you have to investigate by yourself how to.
    - The boss of this dept. think people are slave and his a micro manager so be prepared for this.
    - People are afraid of this manager his always yelling bad word on people. like dumb, jack ass or mother f..., I really don't understand how a guy like this can still be there.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more careful with your employ and learn how to treat people, slavery time are over a long time ago is better to work with a satisfy employee than having someone afraid of you every time waiting that you do not yell on them and saying that you are not running a school there, how do you expect people respond to any problem if you do not let others explain how to do it, . everybody knows a piece of the package and they keep to themselves,

Good company to work for hard-working employees..

Technical Consultant (Current Employee) Jersey City, NJ

ProsGood overall cash compensation for deserving and skilled employees who show results,
Good employee perks & incentives, management objectives bonuses, 401K match, etc.
Good work-life balance & flexible working environment
    Conservative approach in recession times,
Online learning management with tons of courses and access to ebooks.

ConsMedical insurance plan premiums and coverage offered
Vacation (starts with 2 weeks, It increases with years of service 3 weeks at 5th year, etc.)
Feel left out after a while and tend to feel side-lined

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide opportunity for associates for career advancements within the company,
Retain good talent by recognizing and rewarding deserving employees

Looking to leave - please someone hire me !!

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Jersey City, NJ

ProsAccess to various levels of leaders (much more than at a larger company); great colleagues; good benefits and wellness programs (zumba class, incentive program to earn $)

ConsVery poor work-life balance in a number of businesses / corporate groups; Journal Square office is a dump; morale overall is not good, at least at JSQ; old boys clubs still exist here; lots of travel between various NY area offices which can be a huge pain.

Advice to Senior ManagementAddress work-life balance where problems exist - don't just manage to improve employee satisfaction scores. Reconsider if the current values of the company are what you really want them to be (again work-life balance is an example, don't tell us you value the work-life balance of all when you clearly do not).

Overall a good place to work. Needs a little more life in that work-life balance.

Technical Consultant (Current Employee) Denver, CO

ProsGood salaries and great bonuses if you qualify. The staff really work together as a family which includes all the love and petty squabbles and competition for attention that you find in a typical family. My coworkers have been the best part of this job.

ConsAnother company trying to do more with less and favoring outsourced solutions over our own local talent to the detriment of the heart of the company. And, once you are in a role, don't look for promotions.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe people who have product knowledge are aging and you are not nurturing new talent to fill in. Your core knowledge is dying, retiring, or walking out the door and it's not coming back.
