I have been working at Brunswick

    Pros

Excellent work life balance. No micro management. Ability to take on different types of work.

    Cons

All divisions function as though they are separate from the Brunswick business. Compensation is low and expectations are high. Many departments are currently running too lean and the few left are struggling to survive with excessive workloads.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Restructure the performance appraisal system. I was told that it is impossible to receive the highest performance grade in orientation. That is not motivating. There are many that work hard and are not acknowledged for their work, reward them. The company is far too conservative and old fashioned considering the type of industry. Invest in technology to stay ahead of the game.
