“Decent for Fast Food”
I worked at CKE Restaurants
Pros – Decent Salary for Fast Food
Benefits are okay
Meal Discounts 20% anytime, 50% 30 min before your shift to 30 min after
Well known on the West Coast for having big, tasty burgers
Cons – Although salary is decent for fast food, you cap off fairly quickly and raises are minimal
You can only go so far up the chain before there is no where else to go - General Manager is basically where most people aim to reach, since District Managers positions are limited.
Around the holidays be expected to work 55 hours a week.
Labor costs can be unrealistic at times
Advice to Senior Management – Offer other positions in corporate office, if upward movement is not available. This may help with retention.
