I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V.

    Pros

Really good group of employees, decent holidays, great retirement. The location is good. As an engineer, the work is technical and challenging.

    Cons

The Italians run everything, they aren't the pinnacle of efficiency or technical expertise. There are many processes that constrain work and do not allow creativity. There have been lay-offs of full-time engineers in late 2014 but there are still contractors working there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more time in training young engineers

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good salary, benefits, opportunities for training and promotion.

    Cons

Rapidly changing business environment with structuring changes leading to downsizing and move of factories to foreign countries that cost less to operate than US based factories. Be careful that your position and location are secure.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V.

    Pros

Money is very good. You can't beat the benefits. Fairly good work environment. Allows overtime. Competitive poisons. Work hard and move up.

    Cons

Possible lay offs. Management in certain departments is pretty poor. When the corn price is up hours are up. When there down hours are down.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great Benefits (401K,Health Insurance)..Get to work on different products and good managers..Bonuses every year based on company performance.. December shutdown is great... Very rarely have to work extra hours to get the job done..Flexible working hours..

    Cons

No annual merit raises!... Can be stuck with the same salary for years.. HR not involved in training employees.. Compensation policy is more complex than required forcing employees to quit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in your employees... They will find better opportunities outside the company with couple years work experience if you continue to go down the route of no raises...Invest in making them better leaders... Provide more training to improve leadership traits.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and people to work with. Many employees with long histories to benefit from and learn.

    Cons

No raises in over 5 years. HR is more political and people are just numbers rather even though they continually tell you they are investing in you. Must be the Italian way. Glass ceiling for women.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward your employees who make a difference, maybe they'll stick around.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time

    Pros

There are many opportunities to lead and advance your skill set if you are motivated. Great benefits, especially company 401k contributions and health insurance.

    Cons

Limited opportunity for raises for employees not motivated to advance their skills (no annual cost of living increase). Matrix organizational structure leads to functionally conflicting priorities. Work-life balance is not a priority for much of management.

I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Company and industry are very complex and there is a lot of opportunity to develop new skills and learn new things if you are willing to take on challenges. 401k plan is outstanding. Health benefits are good too. I am also happy with my salary for now. Work life balance is also pretty good. People are really nice.

    Cons

There are no raises. You will never get a cost of living increase. Bonus plan is bogus as well if you are not at a certain level. Because of this turn over is extremely high and nobody knows exactly what is going on. Training is non existent. Not because nobody is willing to help, but try finding someone who knows what's going on. Management is very poor. They only care about meeting their numbers and agendas by any means possible and not acknowledging what reality is saying. They do not care about you as a human being and if it suits their purposes they won't hesitate to throw you under the bus. There is no formal career development. You are only a number here. Morale sucks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take it for what it's worth and move on. There are some good opportunities to learn some complex things and develop certain skill sets, albeit on your own, in an environment where who cares if you make mistakes and fumble along the way. Learn and develop as much as you can on their dime and time and in 3 years when you're fully vested take your decent 401k nest egg and use that talent that you've developed at Cnh's expense and put it to good use to add value at a company that will recognize and value it.

If you are not in a position where you are learning new things and are bored, get out now. You're wasting your time and talents on this train wreck.
