I have been working at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of room for advancement if you are willing to work hard. Excellent 401k match. Great coworkers. Week and a half holiday shutdown in December.

    Cons

No cost of living increases. Extremely difficult to get a raise unless you change positions within the company. There are corporate employees that have gone 3-5 years without an increase, which is not untypical.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate your compensation adjustment practices. Stop touting "meritocracy" and "pay for performance" because it's not true. It is just a way for the company to save money.

Most positions include a decent amount of travel. This could be a Pro for some but I have a family and it does get old.

    Pros

I work for the New Holland brand. We have great products and are looking to develops them further. As field staff we have our objectives and tools to complete them.

    Cons

I travel extremely heavily. I will be away from home for weeks at a time. It's not terrible out of season but we travel very extensively during season. That can cause issues at home.

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

They really care about their interns and try to give them meaningful projects during the summer time.

    Cons

The agricultural industry is very cyclical and therefore there are down years that really affect how many interns they hire etc.

I worked at CNH Industrial N.V. full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good variety of work and got to see some of my designs made. Flexible work environment with managers that are willing to help when you have questions

    Cons

Some work got repetitive. Be upfront about the fact that housing is considered income and explain that a tax gross-up will be provided to cover that additional taxes incurred due to this.

    Advice to Management

Overall, I am happy with my experience here. It was nice not having stereotypical intern work, but a planned project may have been better. Putting the proving grounds day at the beginning would have been more beneficial as interns could better understand the product they are working on rather than what they had worked on.
