Current Employee – been working at CSC full-time for more than 10 years

Former Employee – worked at CSC full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Numerous contracts which allowed employees to laterally transfer.
Cons – Managers will stab you in the back. Was pulled from my assignment and replaced behind my back. Upper management was told my government customer fired me for poor job performance. I was given no explination. My customer was told I was moving to another position within the company. Bottom line is I found a job with another company and got a job reference from my former customer.
Advice to Senior Management – Be honest

Former Employee – worked at CSC full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Tuition Assistance
Ability to work remote
Cons – You don't want to work at a Mike Lawrie company. He'll turn around the balance sheet but the employees are just numbers. For example, when he took over he tripled the price of the health care premiums and switched to plans that offered limited coverage. If you look at the total package that CSC offers, they are not competitive in the marketplace.
Advice to Senior Management – None, you already know everything....
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at CSC
Pros – Useful for gaining experience in the field but do not expect recognition, promotion or salary increases. Only value is to add the name to your resume.
Cons – Extremely long hours, biased annual performances, no raises for consecutive years, services are promised to customers which the company cannot deliver on time or with quality. Management is indifferent to employees, will eliminate you without warning, will implement salary reductions because of management failures.
Advice to Senior Management – Make this a bette place to work, stop rewarding management with bonuses when the staff are not given raises, re-focus on quality, values, training.

Current Employee – been working at CSC
Pros – Good benefits. Great co-workers. Made some good friends. Pay is ok. The online learning is very good and HR seems to want to provide necessary training.
Cons – Very political. Archaic antiquated managment uses fear to motivate which essentially means no motivation at all. Projects are entirely mis-managed and delivery dates are almost always missed.
Advice to Senior Management – Do what you say you are going to do. Provide a supportive and open enviroment for employees. Listen to customers better.
