I have been working at CVS Health

    Pros

CVS pays very well. It also provides an excellent opportunity to learn new things.

    Cons

It is a challenge to work at CVS Health because the time allotted to complete the amount of work given is never enough. This leaves the employee feeling frustrated and drained by the end of their shift. Rather than being able to perform at least one of their duties successfully they can not do any of them because they are pulled in so many different directions.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay, stock options, health insurance, growing company.

    Cons

    1. To much red tape.
    2. To little hours to run business successfully
    3. Always reacting to something.
    4. Changes to make things better end up making life harder.
    5. Work life balance is hard

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cutting hours and paying low wages to hourly employees is no way to keep good people. Invest in your people as much as you invest in your image. We get it you stopped selling tobacco.

I have been working at CVS Health part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Work isn't hard. Basic customer setvice and cashier work. Small store less things to get done.

    Cons

Employees aren't treated that well in my opinion. They day no retaliation on complaints but it all friends on the person and their personal relationship with you. Part time is only entitled to about 4 hrs per week so they'll drop your hours.

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The company is expanding so there is pretty good job security here. They match 100% in your 401k up to 5% of your annual income.

    Cons

Pay is sub-par for a company of this magnitude. You would assume that a health company would offer there employees better and cheaper health and drug coverage, but that's not the case.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve training for employees and offer opportunities to increase pay based on experience and years employed. Provide a better work environment to increase morale and decrease turnover rates.

I worked at CVS Health full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Overtime is almost always available and you can work as much as you would like

    Cons

The people calling in are crazy. It would be a good job if there weren't so many psycho people calling in screaming at you over ridiculous stuff
