Good pay. Pretty good matching for 401k and sometimes the company will add additional money. New bonus structure is good but I haven't seen anything yet.

    Cons

Nothing to learn Micromanagement Promotes favorite people instead of people that can do the job Terrible environment to work

    Advice to Management

    Stop micromanaging your team

    Pros

Fitness center, movie theater, full service cafeteria and catering. Plenty of corporate of corporate discounts

    Cons

Promotions are not based on ability and potential, but rather who they favor at the moment. Environment can be hostile. Minorities are overlooked, and or the first to be layed off.

    Advice to Management

    Inclusion saves companies.

    Pros

Good benefits. - Unfortunately, they decrease every year.

    Cons

Workload is crazy. Employees are told (at orientation) that they are not allowed to come in before their starting time and not allowed to stay late. BIG JOKE. Managers see their direct reports working through lunch and staying late with no compensation. There are many abusive managers that humiliate and criticize employees in front of their colleagues.

    Advice to Management

Employee morale at all time low. Hire people that encourage their people instead of demeaning them

    Pros

Great and friendly employees. Great place to work if consultants would also be considered as human beings.

    Cons

Poor, inhumane and unprofessional management. One of my co-workers (consultant) would bully me all the time for no reason. When I requested him not to make me embarrassed in front of others, he would say "you cannot work under pressure". I had never complained to anyone about the co-worker bullying me all the time. One Friday evening, I was shocked when my recruiter called me and told me that I was terminated from the project. He told me that he did not know the reason behind the termination. Instead, he asked me if I knew the reason but I was clueless. My guess was that my co-worker must have said something to my manager because I had warned the consultant not to use bad words against me, especially using my mother's name, while he was yelling at me the day before my termination. He was yelling at me because I was taking time to learn the process of the new project. I wished our manager would be there to see what was going on behind of his back. But I was terminated just because I raised the voice against workplace bullying. Otherwise, I had been completing and delivering each and every project before the deadline. This was the first time of termination in my entire life. I have always been a good employee and a good co-worker.

    Advice to Management

Do not listen to others until you find out the fact.

    Pros

Coworkers are very polite and professional. The Benefits like 401k, Healthcare, Free Cable, Internet, and Phone are pretty good. Pay is very generous as long as you meet or exceed expectations. College tuition reimbursement and Fair Amount of Overtime.

    Cons

Senior management are totally disorganized. No Consistency throughout the Call Centers. Lack of training and you basically learn as you go. Layoffs almost every single day. Tools often break down while trying to resolve an issue with a customer. Very Angry Customers

    Advice to Management

New Senior Management Overall. Properly train your Employees by having Trainers not an one hour video training.

    Cons

company is going through transformation and is in total chaos. The senior management team are totally disorganized. Lay-offs and severance payments are very high.

    Pros

Dedicated staff, excellent benefits, free cable, phone and internet service, 401K match.

    Cons

Very political, unstable environment. Layoffs abound, which are not handled in a way that is respectful to those being let go. Employees are called in, managers come out with boxes and pack up belongings while other workers sit silently stunned, afraid to look up or talk. Each day, most people wonder if it's going to be their last, to the point that very few personal effects are displayed so one can "pack in a hurry" . . .

    Advice to Management

People are human beings, folks. Be discreet. Be compassionate. Tell the truth.

    Pros

As an employee you receive free Cable, Video, Online and phone. Health benefits, thru United HealthCare used to be good. Employees are offered discount tickets for events at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and the Beacon Theater.

    Cons

Management sliced the non-technical support staff to the very bare minimum giving the impression that they were trying to make the company inviting for purchase by another cable provider. A lot of very long time employees were let go destroying any sense of job security for anyone other than technicians.

    Pros

Free Cable, Great Health Benefits, Decent Pay and ok schedule

    Cons

No loyalty to senior reps. I was laid off a few months shy of making 10 years.

    Advice to Management

Instead of laying people off and hiring new people, why don't you offer positions to reps and give them a choice before giving them the boot.
