    Pros

Great colleagues and workmates Everyone at your peer level and middle management are young, energetic and full of ideas.

    Cons

Top level management levels occupied by old timers....hence the resistance to change is very high. Slow to react to competition and very bureaucratic. Chances to move up is limited because of this.

    Advice to Management

Needs to ramp up R&D and move new products to the market while minimizing all those decision making

    Pros

The money wasn't too bad ... . . if you didn't mind not seeing your family. Advancement was easy but not always earned.

    Cons

Excessive hours. The company want to change but when it is time to take action, they weren't willing to follow through. Many of the projects a re recycled ideas from the previous management and green belts are handed out with the same thought process.

    Advice to Management

Follow through with what you say your going to do. Take less time in meetings and give time to put action to the plan.

    Pros

Competive pay and health benefits. A history of giving back to the community. Good facilities. Brands that were once highly respected.

    Cons

Poor morale, very political, several reorganizations to reduce staff, a growth strategy that isn't working and a CEO who doesn't know what she is doing. Leaders don't really are about people, only themselves. The present culture fosters a "me-first" mentality. The company's reputation is better than its performance. The reality is far worse than the perceptions of the company.

    Advice to Management

Bring in a new CEO and a new senior management team or sell the company. Treat people with more respect. Learn from your mistakes. Make a much greater effort to keep talented people.

    Pros

There is not one good thing to be said about this company. I'm stunned they are still in business.

    Cons

I don't know who is submitting these reviews because I don't know anyone who works at Campbell's who is happy. They have lay-offs on a regular basis and if you're over a certain age and/or close to retirement, watch your back.

    Pros

not much, soup sells itself, ugly people

    Cons

It's all uptight white people trying to be politically correct instead of being themselves. You better be a skinny, boring, mediocre person to fit in. Intelligence or thinking different are not welcome. Soup sells itself

    Advice to Management

    Your HR people suck

    Pros

Brand recognition. Decent pay. Looks good on resume

    Cons

Politics over all else, and Incredible bureaucracy. Their Gallup employee engagement measure is a joke... It is not anonymous and there are extreme consequences for being honest. Walking down the hallways with all the placards is eerily similar to Orwell's 1984. It apparently hasn't changed.

    Advice to Management

Change the culture and be a hungry efficient food company

    Pros

Employees are great. They really do care about there job. If they were given respect and gratitude for there work. They would work harder. This company doesn't get it.

    Cons

Supervision is terrible. They belittle employees. Company does not fix machines. They do not care about quality of product. Only quanity.

    Advice to Management

If you would respect the ones doing the work. They would work harder. You don't get that. Also, you have to many salary that are dead weight. If you cut them you could save a bundle.

    Pros

    Benefits, people you work with

    Cons

Not enough room to write them all down. I would love to know where all these good review writers work. This is the worst company ever. They treat the employees horribly. If you're not young, they won't even consider you for a job. It's like working in a third world country. They condone bullying and discrimination.

    Pros

    Brand recognition and household penetration

    Cons

Meeting-centric culture that values face-time over actually getting work done; absolutely NO flexibility to work remotely and work/personal balance. Culture is extremely toxic... kind of like Game of Thrones set in a corporate environment.

The former president of the sales company was a tyrant, and was known as the biggest bully in the company, yet he was rewarded for 11 years. Old-school manage-by-fear style that was emulated by many others.

Back-stabbing and passive-aggressive behavior permeate all levels of the company.

    Advice to Management

Stop tolerating poor leadership behaviors from your leaders and employees; take a look at your turnover (particularly in HR) and figure out why so many of your talent is leaving. During exit interview, I was told that HR had lost 19 HR professionals in less than a year.

    Pros

flexible work hours, big company, established name

    Cons

intern is looked at just as an 'extra pair of hands', no real project was given out but expect to have a final presentation in the end of your "project." people there like to ask us around to do things for them even though its their project and they would be doing other irrelevant things such as cooking for dinner using Campbell's ingredients!

    Advice to Management

please treat the interns better. we are there to learn too and get something out of the experience. also, pay more attention to how the employees use their time.
