    Pros

    - Great team of people: very intelligent, great pedigree
     - Had the opportunity to learn and grow
     - Worked very hard and was rewarded with recognition and promotions
     -

    Cons

    - Meeting culture: Expect to be booked from morning till evening. I brought work home with me and worked very long hours outside of the office
     - Lack of decision making: They are trying to change this, but this is a cultural issue and will take time
     - Reorganizations annually, if not more.... difficult to get traction

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Set the course and stay on it. Whether it be DAI, Engagement, whatever the new process or policy or innovation.... stick to something and see if it actually works.

    i think the team work and management skills are awesome! i loved being part of the campbells team1

    i wish they would assign you to a department and call you back to that dept. working other depts. every season doesnt allow you to excel at being good!

    Strong Brands that consumers love. Investing in World Headquarters making it a much better place to work. Name recognition, heritage.

    Cons

    Many categories are declining. Changing Culture. Possible takeover target. Yearly reorganizations have crippled employee morale. Constant turnover Sales & Marketing personnel.

    Pros

    Great people who take pride in doing good work. Opportunity to develop strong analytical skills to get management to support your ideas. Company really values strong finance and analytical background/expertise. Strong brand equity and consumer recognition. Great benefits overall depending on position.

    Cons

    Still too conservative and risk-adverse. Needs to be more agile in making decisions. Flat organization leaves little room for upward mobility or diversity of roles/responsibilities.

    Encourage and reward intelligent risk-taking and creativity. Provide employees with greater autonomy to make decisions impacting business. Need greater flexibility and responsiveness when addressing market and customer needs.

    excellent training, very safe, great benefits, good learning experience, unionized, company store, good products for kids,

    some coworkers had ben working at campbells 20-30-40 years had never seen the inside of another company therefore did not know what it what they had I was there for only 6 years

    Campbell values their employees, encourages problem solving, training, and innovation.

    Cons

    If you like the overtime, its there, however if you value spending weekends with loved ones, depending on workload and resources, you will be forced to work the overtime as with any food factory.

    Campbell Soup Company is a good place to work. They hire people with strong academic background and skills. The company has been acquiring numerous outside companies recently which should increase the revenue.

    Company has had several reorganizations in the last few years and let employees go. Unknown if more layoff are coming in the future.

    Pros

    Work life balance, innovative, forward thinking, most managers engage the workforce. Cross-functional team development increased year after year for the past 3 years.

    Cons

    Being a large corporation their are numerous layers to get through to get to the decision makers. Local VP and Plant Manager were too wrapped up in the business politics to see the plant was the target to close. Many employees saw it coming and tried to get the attention of the VP and plant manager to find a way to stop the closure event.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Denise Morrison, the next plant closure or major change that takes place show that you care. You displayed absolutely no empathy to the Sacramento closure.
