I have been working at Canadian Natural full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Real open doors policy, best team work enviroment, yes I know, that sound to good to be true, but the thing is, it is all about perspectives, been an expat with experience in very diferent cultures, believe me, this is a great place to work, my boss understand the chalenges of my position, my co workers are positive hardworkers and willing to help and learn every time, you cant ask for any thing better than that.

    Cons

We need more people, this company is expanding fast

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Canadian Natural full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Well managed and one of the best energy companies in the country. Working at CNRL is a good start for a career. The company is positioned to do very well in the future.

    Cons

Demand to work at CNRL is high. The interview process is lengthy, but overall, it is worth it.

I have been working at Canadian Natural

    Pros

Work Monday-Thursday. Good student compensation including high quality subsidized student housing. As a student, the best thing by far is the opportunity to gain real experience through meaningful contributions to real projects. People treat me like a professional, and not just "the intern". Also, free soft drinks, juice, and water from vending machines is a nice touch.

Full time employees qualify for fly in/ fly out from Calgary and Edmonton if working in Fort Mac. Full time employees also receive great stock options. Employees are all extremely nice and very helpful.

CNRL also seems to be more dynamic and innovative than Suncor and others.

    Cons

I can't get any overtime. Also, just some of the same kind of bureaucracy that comes with working for any huge company.
