There is an incentive bonus program in place. Discount in the auto shop is decent but on everything else its not worth it. Managers are friendly and helpful. Upper management is also very friendly considering their position at the top.

    Pros

Canadian Tire is a great company seeing incredible growth overall. The retail side of the business offers many opportunities for career advancement with great training programs.

    Cons

Retail business is a thin margin business so it can be challenging to keep some stores profitable. We also need to improve our online business to keep up with the competition of online giants like Amazon and Alibaba.

The atmosphere that the corporation provide is marvelous, from the first visit to do the interview and then the facilities and benefits you get is great. The people were friendly and enjoying their work which makes you want to go everyday to work. Each individual is appreciated and ideas are welcomed. To have your internship at their head office is a good experience. Great place to work.

    Cons

I did not had any bad experience during my internship. Only it was a short one and I hoped to join the team for a longer one.
