I have been working at Capgemini full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Capgemini is a good place to start if you are fresh out of college with little experience. The benefits are also very good. Also Capgemini is a big name that many people in the industry recognize.

    Cons

The raises for the annual salary are very weak. There is very little mobility in terms of working in accounts/projects that are outside of your Business Unit. It is very easy to get pigeon-holed in a practice or client for long periods of time. Work is very staff aug and managed service heavy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider competitive raises, especially for promotions. Consider having more mobility for staffing people on other Accounts that are in different BUs and more mobility for different practices. Do not require relocation for staffing on a project.

    I worked at Capgemini

    Pros

Great benefits, if you can find the right mentor in your network it's great. As with all large consulting firms, there is always a new challenge and it's all about who you know who can help you

    Cons

They need a lot of specific technical skills to fill roles, which puts you in jeopardy if you are on the bench

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time supporting internal training rather than turnover to meet client needs.
