Pros – Joy of opening the knowledge of the world to young minds.

Cons – Rhetoric about high educational standards.

Advice to Senior Management – Support your teachers

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Capistrano USD

Pros – Some flexabilty. You don't have to take work home. Close to home. You have some choice of positions and location.

Cons – You don't really get any support. No respect for substitutes. Block schedule to long. Students are not disciplined. Schools and classrooms are over crowded.

Advice to Senior Management – Students need to be held to stricter standards. They leave the schools filthy. They don't respect teachers, substitutes or authority figures.

Subs have not had a raise in over 17 years in Capo and they say they are paid $90 a day verses they $75 they used to gt bet that's not really a raise. It used to be if you did a 6th period you were paid an additional $15 for the 6th period which made $90. Now they get $90 but are required to stay for the 6th period so that's not a raise just a change of requirements!! Not only that but if you do 7 periods you still only get $90 so why would you ever want to take a zero period!
