    High targets, low pay

    PPI Case Handler (Former Employee)

ProsThey will take anyone, so it's an inning into an office position for a young graduate.

ConsThe pay is quite low, the targets higher than others and the turnover rate of staff very high. Capita seems ok with that. Not big on investing in people.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need a more consistent, long term outlook. Otherwise you'll always have this shoddy image of a company out for a quick buck.

Treat Employees as Employees not as numbers

    Software Engineer (Current Employee)
    Reading, England (UK)

ProsGood Opportunity to work on big clients.
Opportunity to work with some very talented people.
    Trainings
    Always keep you on Toes.

ConsToo much Politics and clash of personalities.
    Employees are treated as numbers.
    No Benefits at lower level.
    Less Salaries.
    Poor employee retention.
Complicated structure, its always very difficult to contact someone with in the company. Specially IT support. Everything is divided in business units and needs lot of signoffs for little thing. Which actually slows down the things.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat your employees as an asset and try to retain good people. Ship is sinking

large multi-d consultancy but slightly over confident

    APM (Former Employee)

Prosinnovative in their business development practices, get interesting projects and that is valuable experience for someone in the early stages of their career

Consremuneration is not competitive, there is a slight degree of overconfidence when it comes to their own ability, coming from management and filtering right down to lower staff.

    Advice to Senior Managementpay better!

The ship is sinking and we have run out of life rafts

    Senior Software Engineer (Former Employee)
    Bedford, England (UK)

ProsGreat environment, highly technical individuals and a great multicultural working environment. In-House Training and access to Training such as Pluralsight.

New Development Head and faces have improved prospects however too many key people have left (and are leaving) meaning there is a huge bleed out of knowledge that won't come back.

ConsManagement too focused on numbers and not the people. Departmental snobbery, communication issues, no visible governance. Sinking Ship Syndrome: key people leaving consistently through the year.

Too political and a lot of cliques within the organisation that shouldn't really exist. Sometimes acts like a new company rather than an established one and career progression is confusing.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in new technology internally in the company for the employees. Improve communication by leveraging social media powered tools, focus less on numbers and more on employees if you want to get the best out of people.
