I worked at Capital One full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Co-workers - all were professional and focused. I was given interested projects and the authority that I needed to get the job done.

    Cons

Changing review structure and no ability to change to part-time. I left due to family commitments. I would have liked to have continued part-time, but that was not available.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider allowing more flexible schedules for work/life balance. Otherwise, I really liked it there and would have happily stayed.

    Pros

Excellent culture, a culture of helping employees and positive outcomes. They do a great job of seeking diversity and community service.

    Cons

Since its a big company, there's a bit of process and bureaucracy to navigate but not too bad. Lots of contractors from other countries; would like to see more US born employees in the contracting roles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think the place is very well run. And Rich's annual road show is awesome.
