    Pros

Not any good things to say about this unprofessional out of state company! !!

    Cons

This company will take advantage of you by stealing your 400 safety bonus and keeping it in there own company coffers and not declaring it in Massachusetts taxes. If you complain they cut your hours and make impossible to make any money. My advise from a 43yr veteran driver is"don't even think about working for unprofessional company that doesn't have your best interest in mind!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!they will lie to you to get you in the door.

    Advice to Management

You should review your branch managers first hand in your Norwood Mass Chep Pallet Division! !!!

    Pros

none nothing good to say and if you go to their web site they delete any negative said they don't like the truth

    Cons

there bennies sux with over 5000 employee you think they would be great . but when your owned by an investment group its all about them for drivers that are out on the road and you can't get a raise because they think u make to much while your in snow&ice rain their at home in there bed just remember who gets you paid yet they try to get rid of good drivers with stupid rules or go thru your dot exam even if you pass by the doctor they send you too by their in house doctor so they make you go to your doctor and pay a copay to the crappy insurance they have nice way to bite the hand that feeds you

    Advice to Management

when you have to much book sense and not enough common sense you become a nuisance leave the drivers alone let them do their job and just collect your pay check because when it comes down to it you can have all the loads you want but if you don't have a driver you have nothing

    Pros

    Good people to work with.

    Cons

Centerbridge has ruined the company and senior management let it happen. No communication of how the company is doing whether it's good or bad. Top guys get paid ridiculous sums of money in bonus and salary but are asked to cut the people below to appease centerbridge and have no issue with it. Management favorites get moved around from job to job when they are inadequate or their locations shut down to keep them around for an opportunity or to keep playing golf with. Several covered up sexual harassment claims that are settled away with almost no discipline to the offenders because of their status. As is trucking, drivers kill people and since the greatwide merger, we've killed a lot of people than usual in 2014 causing huge reserves because of self insurance.

    Advice to Management

Need more communication and you need to grow some balls and explain to centerbridge that their policies are driving everyone away from the company so that when they sell it, there will be no value left. If you can't do any of this, then you need to leave the company and make the only statement you can so at least everyone else gets the hint and follows before they're left in this pending wasteland thinking everything is fine.

    Pros

There is not a single good thing about working for this company!!!!

    Cons

I have never seen such ineptness in management in my life. Papa Johns treated us delivery drivers worse than dog crap. I quantify that. If your non-hispanic you're treated lower than dog crap. I find it laughable that both of these companies are still in business. My limited vocabulary cannot accurately describe how pathetic the management is at both companies!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

    Advice to Management

Your pizza is SO BAD, that it's not fit for human consumption. Why don't you stop destroying humanity with that disgusting "slop" that you call "pizza". You people are a terrible joke from the owner/founder all the way down the "food chain" to those hapless pizza delivery drivers. The whole corporation is based on fraud and deceit. America Wake Up!

    Pros

The job opportunities are there - especially local jobs for driver's. In an environment where most driver's want to be home on a daily basis, Cardinal (Cardinal-Greatwide) has some stellar opportunities that pay decently.

    Cons

Although their jobs may be above average, it is almost impossible to get employed. If you are in need of a job I would NOT recommend going to Cardinal-Greatwide for an opportunity as it may take over a month for you to actually start working. Many (if not all) trucking companies have a huge demand for truck driver's, but it seems as though Cardinal-Greatwide is simply not in need of them. There is no sense of urgency and the people that you work with in their recruiting department are very slow to get anything done. I can only imagine that this same company image is portrayed throughout the rest of the company, making me think that it is not a company that any driver would want to work for.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to show more urgency and awareness when it comes to one of the trucking industries largest problems: driver turnover & availability.

    Pros

Getting a day off is usually not a problem.

    Cons

Horible pay. Compaired to other positions, I make the same pay in 6 days per week as other companies pay in 5 days per week. Pay is per delivery + milage but the milage is predetermined. Milage pay does not pay extra for truck routes it's only flat rate, town to town.

    Advice to Management

This is hourly type of work. I have yet to break the $15.00 per hour average. This is $25 - 30 per hour job. Pay really needs to be increased.
