I have been working at Career Education full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You always no where you are at with this company. You are in a results driven environment where if you can meet expected numbers you are able to manage yourself and your job. If you can't meet those standards you should look for work elsewhere

    Cons

Heavy regulations by government make it hard for company to reward great employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Limit your losses by cutting non profitable operations. To many layers of wasted middle management. Streamline operations to grow profits.

    Pros

Company pays well, and fantastic benefits, over the years, benefits decrease. The staff is excellent, nice people.

    Cons

Company values are great, if exemplified by the leaders of the company. Little to no advancement for minorities and women.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No family work balance at all. Families with children are advised to look for employment somewhere else, unless you are a man. Advice to Management, stop sucking up, and being phony which permeates the work environment. No one is honest, most are afraid to speak the truth because of losing their jobs. Listen to Advisors on the front line. Management is causing the company to loose money. Fudging numbers is illegal. If you have a friend or someone that you suck up to; you can get promoted. Environment is like a revolving door, many great people have passed through. If possible work for AIU not CTU. AIU more positive environment. Scott Steffey is about the 5 CEO in 8 years.
