Current Employee – been working at Carlton Group, Inc.

Prosvery well known in the business, many large deals have been completed. there are some good people that work there and some of them are actually knowledgeable.

ConsChairman is very difficult and there is no opportunity to move up the food chain. whatever you are when you get hired is pretty much where you will stay. the turnover is unbelievable because the chairman treats people like garbage.

Advice to Senior Managementits pointless to even offer this as Chairman could care less about any advice or feedback from anyone.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

ProsDecent pay, good benefits
Some good people do work there - management and associate levels

ConsChairman/CEO is extremely impatient, cantankerous and difficult to work for.
Work hours are insane - you feel insecure about slipping out at 8pm on a Tuesday night.
Company conference calls held every Sunday at different times - very hard to enjoy a weekend when there is zero respect for personal/family time.
Things are done fast and sloppy, Chairman whips his minions into an unproductive frenzy, treats people like garbage. Yells a lot. Undignified.
Chairman micromanages everything.
You will HATE your Blackberry after working at Carlton. It is an object of anxiety, not productivity
Impossible to take a sick/personal or vacation day without the office contacting you about something frivolous.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat people humanely and respect their time off work. The "24/7 work ethic" there is repulsive. Leave employees alone on Saturday and Sunday
