    Pros

Good, well established south florida company that offers excellent benefits and opportunities for those willing to work hard.

    Cons

Cruise benefits are difficult to take advantage off and the compensation is on the lower side of the scale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve your cruise benefits for corporate employees.

    Pros

Entry level position with an opportunity to earn up to $70K - $75K. You have to be able to work any schedule between 7 am and 2 am with one weekend shift per week, but the call center does a shift bid twice per year. Your shift bid ranking is based on your productivity versus seniority. If you're good at sales you don't have to wait until someone resigns, retires or gets fired before you can work your desired shift. Health insurance and other benefits are pretty good in comparison to other companies in South Florida.

    Cons

Getting approved for PTO can be difficult during certain times of the year due to the nature of it being a call center position. Enter your PTO as in advance as possible. If you're waitlisted choose other days if possible otherwise your original request for PTO may come and go.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management truly seems to care and wants to see their employee succeed. There are too many negative employees that have been here forever and complain about everything especially sales quotas. It is a sales job of course there will be sales quotes. Duh! My advice to management is to get rid of your cancerous employees. They make the environment unpleasant for those that actually want to be here and make money.

Current Employee - Cruise Vacation Specialist in Miami, FL

    Pros

Amazing flexibility by having the option to work from home, management is not always breathing down your neck (even with this being a sales position), decent amount of vacation time and sick time hours even for a new employee, lots of opportunity to do overtime but not obligated to work it.

    Cons

The top paying incentive tiers are getting more difficult to reach so this position is not paying as well as it used to. Still fair pay compared to other lines. You have to be a machine on the phones, because we have only 4 minutes per hour for a break and a 30 min lunch break. It's not as easy as it seems when you take a large amount of calls daily with no time to re-set between calls. Since its a call center, it is nearly impossible to get PTO approved for when you want it and if you are not one of the top performers, you will probably work a shift no one wants. No room to climb up the ladder. The coaches have been the same for a good 5 or 6 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Over all, this is a fantastic, lively workplace. I think it's a great position for someone that is comfortable with making upper 40's and doesn't mind not moving up the ladder.

Current Employee - Assistant Team Waiter in Miami, FL

    Pros

Free food and accomodation, saving money, explore many places.

    Cons

I met many department heads (managers) were so rude, and they didn't motivate their subordinates. They were not good samples for their subordinates. Working hard every day in long hours can be tolerent if we got good motivation from them. They're always blame us, nothing can be right, and everything we did was wrong. Company's trick was very smart, and they took too much adventages from crew members' productivity, but almost nothing of positive feed back that we could get. Promotion was favoritism, and not based on their achivements.

If you're talented, and have good achievements about your life, this place is not good for you, otherwise you will waste your time here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please respect crew members, we don't need your money, we just need your motivation. We realize that we worked hard not only for our career improvement, but also for your goal.

    Pros

They try to make it fun environment with give-aways and fun celebration of different holidays and things going on in the company. A lot of opportunity for learning diversity. Also has a gym and day care onsite.

    Cons

Although there is opportunity to move to different departments I have seen limited upward promotions. Once you start there the salary increases are minimal even if you did a good job. A lot of hours in certain departments with a lot of turnover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Higher raises for loyal employees. More upward promotions. Limit the number of hours for better work to life balance in departments that need it.
