    Pros

I like working with my co-workers they are the best.

    Cons

the managers dont care about the employees that work hard for money these days. The owner needs to get a better understanding for when people go back to school.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get Better managers that can run the the show and care about people.

I worked at Carrabba's Italian Grill full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Is few really nice and helpful co-workers.

    Cons

Horrible to no training. Store poorly organized. Food quality so- so. Good teamwork when employees actually showed up. The managers were very absent from problems, they openly argued in the dining area and also at the bar on many occasions. Don't recommend working or eating there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get it together.

I have been working at Carrabba's Italian Grill full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

you get a comp card but the catch it still makes your bonus lower, paid vacation, oh the catch you use AKM and you use up too many hours your bonus even lower, no real pro's here.

    Cons

Everything effects your TCI bonus, which is actually 30% of what they promise you, for example you are told you will make 37,000 they will give you a base pay of $30,000 and you have to earn then rest, they call it TCI bonus not for sure where the bonus part comes from because they makes sure you don't make over or close to what they promise, and be prepared to work your butt off everyday all day to save labor, 50-55 hours a week, no way more like 65 or more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop cheating the hardest working Managers out of there TCI, why pretend your going to fix something when we all know the only thing that matter is rising the stock prices, but once we .... off customers enough we will end up empty like mac grill company is heading toward failing and principals and belief and quality of life where and how no body cares enough or get paid enough so this is somrthing to think about short change the ones that matter you fail in the end.

I worked at Carrabba's Italian Grill full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Some nice people. Not very clean and the management were not professional at any time. Hard to contact or get a schedule on time.

    Cons

The worst Company I have ever worked for. Absolutely miserable. Not a company I would recommend to anyone I know. Never knowing what's going on in the store.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ever heard the word TeamWork? Professionalism? Unorganized and Not sure what is going on...don't know who's in charge and being told several different ways of doing things.

    Pros

The 10% of food that IS made from scratch is good..

    Cons

Gossip, Immature, back channel drama undermines. No cohesive communication among mgmt team members and region of higher. HQ needs to get out of ivory tower

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let Managers run it like they own it.. Stop F'ing with the bonus plans

I worked at Carrabba's Italian Grill full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Popular concept. Food is good, recipes are from scratch except for things which come in frozen. They do not make a single piece of pasta in the place.

    Cons

Zero feedback, too much communication informally, drugs, gossip, and poor communication between managers. No one is smiling. No periodic reviews, and the way one is trained is to simply throw them in prep, at the door, on on the floor. No coaching whatsoever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't believe the smoke unless there is a fire. Managers have no way of communicating, plus corporate is now using stupid metrics to jerk their managers around instead of letting them run it like a restaurant business

I have been working at Carrabba's Italian Grill full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I've thought about it, and the only pros I can think of is the scheduling and the amount of money you can make in a good weekend.

    Cons

Awful boss, people were scummy, training is tedious and often filled with flaws, moving up in positions required continuous harassment of managers.

I worked at Carrabba's Italian Grill

    Pros

The hourly employees truly treat one another like family. Great set of principles and beliefs however these are not practiced by management, merely preached.

    Cons

Management treats employees like a hurd of cattle, which yields dollars and nothing else. Oftentimes, I felt like a warm body on the floor, rather than a valued employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practice the already established principles and beliefs in your daily efforts. Truly caring for and investing in your employees will yield the unimaginable results you are searching for.
