I have been working at Cassidy Turley full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits.
    Nice website.
    Cool Business Cards.

    Cons

Benefits get trimmed every time there is "good news about going forward." Not impressed with HR and Payroll has made more mistakes than is reasonable.

Too many hogwash back slapping events for peons to adulate their superiors. Waste of time for anyone with actual tasks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut the crap. Your employees know you by what you do, not by what you say or your title.

    Pros

Great marketing materials and professional company. Fair salary wise and good company leadership. Opportunity for advancement and training.

    Cons

Very big organization hard to know the company leadership if you are in a support position. Time off very fair and benefits are very fair. The company approves training and encourages.

    Pros

Everyone works - there are no slackers. Benefits are good and they are always hiring. Growing company.

    Cons

NO sympathy for those who work more than 45 hours / week. If you resign you LOOSE ALL your accumulated days off! Management doesn't care - there are more to fill your shoes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop bragging about how well you are doing at the meetings when you are giving nominal raises.

I have been working at Cassidy Turley full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

-The pay is good, considering it is entry-level business
-The benefits offered are very fair
-Everyone I work with is very competent and capable
-The managers are very open, welcoming, and helpful

    Cons

-There is no work/life balance. They expect you to leave on time, but when you do, you don't get your work finished.
-Too much workload, understaffed in some departments
-Cannot roll over vacation days one year to the next. "Use it or lose it" policy
-Stress levels of all employees seems incredibly high and you see people working late into the evening and every weekend pretty often
-Detail-oriented individuals are not valued. Due to the high volume of work expected, taking time for details is not possible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consult with your teams (those that do the actual hands-on work for the client, such as transaction managers) before signing the client contract each year. Hire a larger team for the larger accounts so that individuals are not working as late. The workload expected is not possible. Remove "detail oriented" from the job descriptions as those that are get punished since they try to do a good job and can't because there is little time for actual detailed work.
