I have been working at Century Aluminum

    Pros

Pay and benefits decent for this area. Not much to put in the pro section

    Cons

Doesn't rank as a good place to work. It's to the point that people are giving up > they are put in a no win situation

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management doesn't take advice. They are hostile, arrogant and dismisses any kind of input >dusty stevens example

  7.

Century Aluminum is a non-family oriented facility that treats employees as doormats and numbers ans not as human beings

I have been working at Century Aluminum

    Pros

They give you a minimum paycheck on Wednesdays but you can not pick it up before 2 p.m. at the Guardhouse. You have basic healthcare and not much more.,

    Cons

no communication, lack of committment from management for long term of facility, poor management decisions, continually stepping on the collective bargained agreement, lack of respect for employees and their families, production before safety mentality

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your employees are an assett and at Hawesville on a daily basis they are treated like doormats it would be nice to work in a facility that appreciated the employees for the millions and millions of dollars they are making for the fat cats in Monterey, California enabling them to build their newest smelters in Iceland
