I have been working at CenturyLink full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There's a good management track, amazing benefits and company/employee involvement, and a great working environment.

    Cons

Still a pretty conservative work place, though I think that's mostly due to it's location in the Bible Belt.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mentoring women to get to know the business and be able to break into top-tier management is a must.

I have been working at CenturyLink full-time

    Pros

CenturyLink has many job opportunities and career paths. If you are self determined, you can have great variety in your career.

    Cons

Parts of the company and the senior leadership are stuck in an old school mentality regarding work and life balance. They are a high tech company bringing virtual work environments to our customers, but not our employees.

I have been working at CenturyLink full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The men and women behind the reigns at CenturyLink really seem to have the well-being of the employees, community, and longevity of the business at heart.

    Cons

If you're used to a faster paced development cycle, you might be a little frustrated. Some projects have a very long lifecycle, so switching gears from a faster environment may be a little frustrating at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. This is a special company with a lot of special people. Don't ever lose sight of that.
