    Cenveo corporate mess

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsGood pay and good hrs

ConsSorry benefits, no compassion with people. Hardly no management.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need to pay more attention to the individuals you have hired or put in these positions to run your plants.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Do not care about employees, do not suggest you work for them.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsNone, notta, nothing good to say about them. I don't know how they can sleep at night for what they are doing to 140 people.

ConsWell they bought us 8 months ago, just signed a 3 yr. Deal. Now closing the doors. We were their biggest rival, now we have no jobs. People have been here for 25-30 yrs. And are getting nothing for it. They should be ashamed.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement sucks, they do not care about workers or their families. Just about personal greed. Next time you close a plant , maybe give the workers a severance package, specially the ones that have been there for many yrs.

If you're on the fence, don't do it.

Non-Management (Current Employee) Park Ridge, IL

Pros-There are a lot of decent people that can make the days bearable.
-It's easy to figure out the pros because there are so few.

Cons-Communication is non-existent (and poor when there is communication)
-Work/life balance is terrible; I have regularly felt "set up to fail" with the volume of work and the amount of time in the day
-Pay freeze for several years - except the cost of benefits keep going up
-Benefits package is terrible - no 401k match, the only benefit paid-for by the company is a small life insurance policy
-No performance review structure (except when you perform poorly and they want to fire you). If you do happen to get a performance review, start worrying and find a new job.
-Business plans change frequently and are not communicated in a timely manner. Not to mention all the work that can go into building and analyzing plans just to find out that the plan has changed once you present your findings.
-Cash flow is negative and/or falsely padded by withholding payments to suppliers and adding to the mountain of debt

Advice to Senior ManagementStop taking this drowning company so seriously: it's a paper company and the year is 2014.

Don't take the low stock price so personally - there's a reason it's not $20/sh.

    Unsatisfactory leadership and direction

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsCenveo offers a platform of different services to it's customers

Cons- upper management uses a technique of striking fear into its employees to get what it wants.
    - upper management gave all employees a 10% pay deduction years back and has yet to increase pay back to where it once was
    - upper management does not understand all of the services it offers
    - production is very lean; management not hiring to help the overworked employees

Advice to Senior Managementfigure it out

    No Future

    Office (Current Employee) Minneapolis, MN

    ProsPeople are great! Free parking.

ConsConstant leadership turnover, payouts never reinstated, no raises for ten years. Layoffs and resigned positions never filled. Work piled onto employees who make the last cut. Overtime is mandatory with no compensation.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive back to your employees if you want them to stay.

    Poor Management

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsIt is a large company and plenty of work to go around. There are hours there to work and a salary to make.

ConsManagement does not care. Employees have to endure verbal abuse, mismanagement, no raises, get moved around a lot, poor air conditioning if you work on the printing presses, equipment breaks down a lot, poor supervisory assistance.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement with supervisors is very low quality. Many of them cannot fix or run the printing presses. They show favoritism and those are the ones who get the hours and promotions. If the supervisors will cut your hours back if you speak up about anything at all. People are quitting right and left. Company quality and morale is low and getting worse. Take a look at local management and you will see why no one stays and the ones that have been there for years are leaving.

    Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator (Current Employee) Seattle, WA

ProsWonderful staff on a local level that truly cares about the individuals

ConsInept corporate management who actions show no concern to its employees. All corporate concerns themselves with the stock share price & cost cutting at the detriment of the company's success & ability to compete.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus on growing the company & competing in a rapidly changing industry, rather than making the sole focus the stock share price.

Not A Good Company-Employees Not Important

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prosreceived paycheck only pro can think of

ConsManagement does NOT care about their employees. You will do the work of more than one person. You won't get raises or bonuses. Company's performance is terrible... declining sales, losses every year, high debt, holds payments to vendors during last months of quarters, Employee longevity is very low, including upper management.. HR personnel is not interested in the welfare of employees either. Benefits cost increases each year with no raise, so salary is actually decreased each year. If looking for a satisfying career, this company is not the place. If looking for a yearly declining paycheck, demands from management, no personal life, then it is the place for you.

Advice to Senior ManagementAppreciate the employees below your level, and acknowledge the employees at the plant levels, without them your job wouldn't exist.....say thank you once in awhile to the little people

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
