I have been working at Charter Communications full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

1 week vacation after 6 months then accrue another week in first year, good benefit package, decent pay

    Cons

Management has no clue of how to maximize technician productivity and create policy after policy to make day to day work nearly impossible and sets everyone up for failure. Very hard to promote up

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to ideas and suggestions for employees who perform the work every day, take care of your employees especially those who have shown a dedication to the company.

I have been working at Charter Communications full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Lost of entry level positions that do not require any kind of experience.

    Training is provided.

Benefit are a little above average.

    Cons

In the BBT field, its kind of a dead end field once you get trained up.

Some of the fleet vehicles should have been disposed of a long time ago.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more time into the employees.

I worked at Charter Communications full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Benefits, commission, free cable - internet and phone, on-going training

    Cons

too much management at every level - constantly changing the commission structure - when reps start to make too much and become successful, they cut the commissions. Managers also play favorites - very inconsistent between the branches - rules are constantly changing - day-to-day, with little consistency.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

cut out the 8 mid-level managers between you and the folks that deal with the public. Cut out the bologna rules -
