    Pros

Since they work at a college campus, they work around class schedules. Raises are given every year. The hourly compensation is more than I would find anywhere else. There are many different places to work on campus.

    Cons

Schedules revolve around the semester, so most employees are laid off for a month for Christmas break and 3 months for summer break; you get unemployment, but it's not steady pay. Lack of communication makes the place run very ineffectively.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication needs to be improved! None of the managers communicate which means none of the employees have any idea what's going on until the very last minute.

    Cons

not good for someone looking to advance their career (more of just a temporary fit), long hours, there are a few disturbing employees, extremely low pay and no benefits for part time employees

Current Employee - Caterer in Salt Lake City, UT

    Pros

Management and staff are easy to get along with and are fun to work with.

    Cons

Difficult to plan your schedule more than a week in advance. Parties occur when they do and you have to plan your work schedule around them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is workable. However they expect you to hustle and get the job done on a deadline. This is generally expected anywhere, but in this industry it is critical to job performance and customer loyalty.
