    Pros

Great benefits, great co-workers. Friendly staff. Good location on public transit. Pay was ok, not as good as working in the private sector

    Cons

Pay is not as good as private sector. Very limited parking is available for entry level workers.

    Advice to Management

I didn't have much contact with senior management but most people I worked with seemed happy, so keep doing what you're doing!

    Pros

It is great being in a hospital and getting advice from physicians about the future. You get first hand experience in the clinical research process which is helpful later in life.

    Cons

This job can sometimes be depressing, as oftentimes you will be around sick children or hear that a child unfortunately passed away.

    Pros

Opportunities for continuing education. Diverse work environment. One of, if not the best children's hospital in the world.

    Cons

I only wish I could come back and get another job working here.

    Pros

The opportunity to work with world class physicians, many of whom would take the time to answer questions or explain a diagnosis to non-medical personnel was very interesting. Benefits at CHB are top-notch and you will probably have a hard time finding another employer who offers their employees so much.

    Cons

The politics can get in the way sometimes but I think that happens at a lot of companies.

    Pros

You can always find people who really care about what they're doing and why they're doing it. People do pull together. If I ever felt like I was having a bad day - I'd look around - and then realize I was only whining. These kids and their families are amazing people.

    Cons

You'd think CHB would feel like it had a ton of money - and it may - but it seems like you're always trying to find the funds to cover this or that. It's a Harvard-Affiliated academic teaching hospital. There are politics.

    Advice to Management

Continue to get feedback from your team, at all levels!

I have been working at Children's Hospital Boston

    Pros

The hospital provides training for students in various parts of the pharmacy throughout the hospital. Also a great place to make connections with pharmacists.

    Cons

    Pharmacy intern management.
Pay is low for interns compared to other hospitals in the area or retail pharmacies.
Interns get a raise once a year.
