    Pros

You will get the best experience and training that an entry level sales position could offer. The car package and compensation plan is very nice.

    Cons

Some of the systems are flawed and in favor of the company. If you are trying to get promoted, it may take a very long time.

    Pros

4 day work week, highest pay in industry. Good benefits. Ability to move up from low to mid level. Very hard to move up beyond that.

    Cons

Old boys club, post job openings but they already know what specific person they want to fill that position. Management isn't transparent enough. Moderate turnover creates staffing and coverage issues. Always tweeking our pay structure and making bonuses harder to achieve.

    Advice to Management

Stop changing our pay scale and bonus structure.

    Pros

Great sales training both at start and ongoing. Very Structured which is good at the beginning as it gets you moving in the right direction. Comp plan can be very good depending on what your standard is and how hard you are going to work for it. With it being a very large company there are many different ways that you can be promoted. Culture is good and have great people that work there at all levels.

    Cons

Depending on the leadership in place it can be very micromanaging environment. For those who are more tenured this may not be an ideal environment for you. You are expected to grind grind and grind on acitivty (which is sales) and on top of that have meetings to fit it which makes work life balance tricky with 5am service meetings that are mandatory or 5pm back to the office calls on fridays. The route rides are pointless at most times and take people out of the field and their homes for insane hours. You can move within the organization but you have to have a Presidents club behind you in order to be considered "qualified" to be promoted which clearly kicks out people who may actually be great future leaders. This is especially demotivating for those who surpass that number but missed certain measures that technically disqualify them. Pay is good, good base salary but every year they are consistently changing the comp plans with majority of the time its to cut the comp down and make less. There is an atmosphere of "they dont want us to make too much money" that whispers around the sales teams when all the selling rules are changed. Comp plan roll outs need to be done and communicated better.

    Advice to Management

Take more time to invest in recognizing consistently and making your sales folks feel part of the big picture. Stop consistently cutting their pay for bringing in contracts that are worth $40K - $250K in value and getting them paid just 1% on average. Loosen up on the micromanaging aspect if someone is tenured and doing their job.

    Pros

Cintas provided a diverse experience, with many opportunities for advancement if the necessary work was put in.

    Cons

There were a lot of red tape and seemingly excessive formalities, although I can't say this is uncommon amongst corporations of this size. At times it could be very HR sensitive, but overall it was a good place to work.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in people and provide the support necessary without becoming detached from the daily lives of the front line partners.

    Pros

Good insurance. Lots of hours. The people are all good to work with. Retirement plan. Lenient attendance policy. Vacation, sick time and paid holidays.

    Cons

The wages are too low. Sometimes there is too much overtime. The supervisors expect the coordinators to do their job while the supervisors are not truly involved. Sometimes you're talked down to. The management team are not leaders they are more like bosses. A great leader will not ask their employee do anything that they are not willing to do themselves.

    Advice to Management

Listen more and pay attention to what goes on between partners.
