Conslearning is very slow. and you dont get to work on many new things in a few things.

Good

Technical Writer IV (Current Employee)
Bangalore (India)

I have been working at Cisco Systems India full-time for more than a year

ProsA nice place to work in. Good work life balance. Telecommuting is the best thing to happen. Top leadership is good.

ConsWork progress is centered around your manager's ability to take the team forward. A manager with a very average vision and intelligence can hamper your growth here. Nothing is done to correct or train managers in this regard. Mediocrity has already set in.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire managers who are too ill-equipped to lead the teams with a totally unbiased attitudes. Encouraging gossips and bad competition between team members is bad for the kind of work culture that is here and can affect the company's growth.
