    Pros

Assess to different product lines, full of interesting problems to solve

    Cons

Inefficient, most of the time quite political as you can expect from a large company, frequent "cost saving" measures, legal and regulation stuff slows everything down and yet every time there will be someone going rogue to sink the ship - I think it's a culture thing, and the problem is there is no culture

    Pros

The pay is good and mostly everyone works as a team

    Cons

Lately it's been tough..there's not enough employees to keep up with the traffic and when a mistake is made it is up to you to find it no one will help you not even your manager

    Advice to Management

Get more staff and have the managers truly help their employees grow.

    Pros

Your co workers, I guess the the bad conditions of employment and constant fear of being laid off makes people more friendly and understanding of one another.

    Cons

Great AML training but get ready for the ride of your life, never in my career I felt so undervalued by a company. The company takes 4 months to give you one of the best AML training in the industry and 6 months later, because of a change in direction(new project being implemented), try to demote its employees instead of helping them relocate within the company.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to what is happening with the people responsible of the real work.

    Pros

    Good work culture
flexible work hours depending on manager
    good sport events and vacations

    Cons

technology used is still stone age
need to ramp up on handling new technology with ease
no actual development or coding on hands on what so ever
all work managed by contractors than full timers
always stuck on calls and meetings
No actual career growth, would be stuck for decades doing repetitive work
No encouragement for good work done.

    Advice to Management

Bring on people who can manage the team and understand the difficulties of the technology
change the way you work by observing how successful software firms get things moving.
Have good development work brought onsite than outsourcing.

    Pros

You are allowed to wear jeans and polo shirt on Friday. And Saturday and Sunday if they make you work over time.

    Cons

Citi AML is like Vietnam. Don't bother making friends there, because either you or them will be gone very soon. Citi starts a new class of temps about once every two months. My class was May 2014. We started out with 83 people. Exactly one year later only 32 remained. The rest either quit, or were fired for petty reasons. If you accept a job here, 60% of the people in your class will not reach one year. If you are desperate for a job, ok work here for a while. But DO NOT quit your current job to come here. Although we do not work directly with customers, I have never seen a more unprofessional atmosphere. Several people in my class had visible tattoos. One girl even had pink hair! Can you believe that? A pink hair employee working for a Fortune 500 company?

    Advice to Management

Get rid of your mid level managers/team leads. They are incompetent. If the shareholders knew what kind of petty atmosphere is run in Citi Tampa, they would explode.

    Pros

    Cons

they down size by letting people go with as little as 2 day notice. no job security

    Advice to Management

Be scared for you job as well, they just let all leads go in the Florence Ky location with 2 week notice. But they treated the employees to coney island today, HMMMMM

    Pros

flexibility is the only thing i found is good at this bank. The citigroup is taken over by all indians, u will feel like working in india. Most employees, managers, and upper managers are indians, it sucks, there is no diversity, Managers have an attitude specially towards consultants

    Cons

I got hire for a specific role but i was not given those work, my manager was hiding himself and actuality of what i will be doing. my manager never convene me that what projects that i will be working. my manager has never welcomed in his team by introducing to the team

    Advice to Management

Be open to your employees including consultants. The right place to work where managers and employee communicate, have an open dialog. Make feel everyone under your supervisory that you care for them.
