    Pros

The benefits are awesome. I love working here. I've worked at other banks but this is by far the best I've worked at.

    Cons

Due my department being so stressful, at times employees can go at each other. Also in my dept it's hard to move up.

    Pros

    Work/life balance
Good benefits (onsite amenities could be better)
    Relatively fast moving
    Diverse
Great locations/buildings (388 Greenwich in NYC looks awesome inside/out)

    Cons

The technology is behind. The CTO/CIO needs to embrace new technology fast. They should provide super fast development machines, access to cutting edge technology trainings and drive the business to adopt new technology. The user interface of most applications are outdated. They really need to spend money on how customers are using their applications and change the UI design of every single application.

    Advice to Management

    1) Instead of doing same old and holding the fort, get out and think differently.
    2) You should also force rotate people and put them in different teams, so employees will learn how Citi as a whole works.
    3) Learn from Google/Facebook on how to treat employees by bringing better onsite amenities. Spend some money on employees instead of losing in Forex market.
    4) Put technology in center piece of everything you do.
    5) Hire really smart people and not just average people whose goals are to pay mortgage and tuition for their kids.

    Pros

Company culture, very nice offices, ability to advance, mostly relaxed, flexible work hours, ability to work from home, good work life balance.

    Cons

Extreamly Large organization, sometimes difficult to get hold of people, some systems difficult to figure out or be given access to.

    Advice to Management

More one on one time to foster manager/employee relationship.

    Pros

    Global brand name, supportive culture

    Cons

Huge organization, not as creative projects txt a smaller company might dare to have

    Advice to Management

Support young people and make Citi a company of the 21st century - dare to make the tech group very robust. Recruit the best of the best to your tech teams.

  10. Great company, with a lot of global opportunities and cross border transactions. Team is very helpful and smart. Great..

    Pros

Global bank with opportunities to work with very diverse teams. Office cultures vary a lot by location so very hard to generalize for the firm as a whole.

    Cons

Not to many cons I can think of. Really depends on the office or group.

    Advice to Management

Development of talent from within is best way to grow firm. Still very beaurcratic in structure (promotions based on tenured service rather than performance).

  11. Great management support, great benefits.

    Pros

Management support, continued job coaching, benefits, willingness to hire people with people skills but not computer skills, and then train them where some companies, Geico for example, make you pass a computer skills test just to pass the interview.

    Cons

Hiring you for customer service and then adding additional customer service responsibilities to help back up loan processing that's sometimes months behind.
