I have been working at Citi full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Telecommuting is encouraged. Flexible work schedule and work/life balance. Decent comp. Opportunity to deliver solutions at global scale is a fun challenge.

    Cons

Coping with global bureaucracy and deeply siloed organization can be frustrating at times. Deeply entrenched legacy technology stacks and lock-in often stand in the way of achieving true IT transformation and innovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Annual review and rating process perceived as unfair; give control back to the direct managers.

I worked at Citi full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Advancement opportunities, time off benefits, health benefits, 401k/company matching program

    Cons

Too many gaps in communication due to the size of the departments/groups. Technology is out of date and there are no real plans to get state of the art technology because of costs. Also the company lacks a great deal in the training department for new hires. This is also because of costs and no good technology.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
