    Pros

Not bad. A lot of overtime though, but the working environment is generally fine.

    Cons

Somehow unorganized. Need to figure out a lot of things by yourself.

    Pros

Plenty of chances to advance and Strong incentive program

    Cons

Management works long hours. Unpaid OT and salary structure for internal promotions is less than desirable

    Advice to Management

Build a string sales team and work harder to keep your all star employees

    Pros

Great Work/Life Balance, easy going environment,

    Cons

Employees do not seem to care about their work. A few good people end up doing the work for all. Benefits kept getting cut also.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting benefits, start paying employees what they deserve if you want to retain talent.

    Pros

Citizens does offer a variety of career paths for all types of degrees and interests. Your sales numbers mean a lot and if you can consistently produce you will get noticed for promotions.

    Cons

Prepare to be micromanaged. If your manager is by the book for can expect to have every 30 minutes of your day blocked out for an activity. The banks processes don't allow people to be themselves but more like robots.
Their new incentive programs are also a lot worse than in the past. Under the old system the average banker made $4800 per quarter in bonuses. Under the new P&L system that has significantly dropped and reaching those levels now means hitting 5 times your minimum expectation.

    Advice to Management

The managers need to loosen up and relax. When they hound on their employees all day about where they are going to kind a checking account for the branch that day it will stress you out. Learn to filter the information that pertains to them and keep the rest to yourself so they can relax and be loose and friendly to customers instead of badgering customers and making them feel uncomfortable.

    Pros

The hours are great, insurance is decent.

    Cons

More and more responsibilitjes are being added to my position as a teller without a reflection in my pay. Ive even been training our new senior teller whos paycheck is larger than mine.
    Unrealistic sales goals.
    Micromanaged to the max.

    Advice to Management

Instead of focusing on the numbers, focus on the customers and whats right for them, and theyll never bank elswhere.
